What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue developing my skills in the criminal justice system, using my experience supporting youth, adults, and justice-involved clients through communication, crisis intervention, documentation, and supervision.

I'm a Probation and Parole Officer with the Department of Corrections in St. Louis, managing Interstate, Primary, and Domestic Violence caseloads. I monitor clients through home, office, video, and community visits while helping them remain engaged in supervision.

I prepare violation reports, citations, case summaries, and final case summaries for Courts and the Parole Board. I also conduct ORAS assessments to identify clients’ histories, strengths, and barriers, and communicate with clients and their support systems by phone, email, and mail.

Previously, I worked as a Corrections Officer I and Support Care Assistant, developing crisis intervention, tactical communication, defensive tactics, behavioral management, and detailed documentation skills. My work has included supporting adults with developmental and physical disabilities, individuals returning from incarceration, and people navigating mental health, family, substance use, and anger-management concerns.

I also bring years of youth mentorship and volunteer experience through Outta Love Youth Ministry, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and the St. Louis City Justice Center. I hold a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with minors in social work, psychology, criminal justice and criminology, and trauma studies, and I am pursuing a master’s degree in cybersecurity and criminal justice.
