My cybersecurity training at University of Colorado Boulder included hands-on SIEM work with Splunk, IDS/IPS work with Suricata, and incident-response labs. I’m CompTIA Security+ certified and seeking an Associate SOC Analyst role.
In a network implementation project, I designed an addressing plan with eight usable subnets and configured VLANs, OSPF, and inter-VLAN routing in Cisco Packet Tracer. I also applied switch-port security, SSH, and access control lists.
For a network security lab, I built a virtual environment with pfSense, Kali Linux, Ubuntu, and Debian. I configured Suricata and created rules to identify abnormal traffic through the WAN interface.
