At RapidAscent, I completed hands-on cybersecurity training in SOC operations, SIEM monitoring, threat detection, and incident response. I investigated simulated Windows endpoint events and correlated host logs with SIEM alerts to identify potential indicators of compromise.

I also investigated simulated incidents by correlating SIEM alerts, packet captures, and system logs with MITRE ATT&CK techniques. I developed Python and Bash scripts to automate log analysis and validate system configurations.

Through TryHackMe labs, I triaged simulated alerts using Splunk, Elastic, and Wazuh, then documented findings and escalation recommendations. I also practiced AWS IAM least-privilege configuration, digital forensics, and malware investigation.

Before focusing on cybersecurity, I worked across security operations, investigations, and protective services, including as a Security Technician IV at Fluor and as a Rifleman / Team Leader in the United States Marine Corps. I hold CompTIA Security+ certification and am pursuing CompTIA CySA+.
