I’m an internationally educated Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience supporting maintenance and engineering activities in Colombia’s oil and gas sector. I pair strong engineering fundamentals with business acumen and a clear focus on operational excellence in fast-paced environments.

In an industrial refinery setting, I supported multidisciplinary maintenance and engineering workflows, contributing to engineering documentation, field coordination, and maintenance planning while following strict industrial safety standards. I helped keep refinery equipment running reliably and gained practical insight into industrial operations and engineering execution.

Beyond engineering, I developed supervisory and people-leadership capabilities in Canada’s premium hospitality industry, managing front-of-house operations during peak, high-volume service. I coordinated multidisciplinary service workflow, supported quality control, trained new team members, and resolved operational challenges with clear communication.

My capstone work designing and validating a biomass water heating system reflects my engineering approach end-to-end—mechanical design, thermodynamic and heat-transfer analysis, SolidWorks modeling, fabrication/assembly, experimental testing, and technical documentation. I’m now seeking to apply technical expertise, operational discipline, and collaborative problem-solving within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
