What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend role where I can build and maintain scalable e-commerce systems, automate workflows, and improve performance. I value clean, testable code and collaboration, and I want to keep expanding into frontend (Vue/React) and practical AI tooling.

I’m a Backend Developer with 8+ years of experience in E-Commerce, specializing in custom software solutions that improve workflows and automate manual processes. I focus on long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability, while keeping codebases clean and easy to evolve.

In my current role as a PHP Developer (remote) in Leeds, I build backend features like checkout functionality, payments, and reporting using a company custom MVC framework on PHP 7.2. I integrate Shopify Apps (Laravel/PHP 8.2) using GraphQL, and I connect order and stock flows to ERP/3PL systems via REST APIs, including Salesforce, Dimotrans, and SoftOne.

I’ve also strengthened reliability through refactoring and quality practices—removing dead code, improving testability, and applying DRY principles. Previously, I worked in checkout and platform teams, conducting code reviews with PSR standards, using TDD with PHPUnit, and supporting complex payment gateway integrations.
