Experienced RN specializing in pediatrics, behavioral health, education, and patient advocacy, currently pursuing an MSN in Nursing Education.
What I'm looking for
I am a registered nurse with a diverse clinical background spanning pediatric specialty care, behavioral health, corrections, clinical leadership, and patient and staff education. My experience has taught me that some of the most meaningful work in nursing happens through communication, advocacy, education, and helping people navigate complex healthcare needs.
In my current pediatric specialty nursing practice, I collaborate closely with patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, provide education, troubleshoot barriers, and ensure families have the information and support they need. I have also served in nursing leadership roles, developed orientation and educational resources for nurses, and participated in quality improvement initiatives focused on strengthening clinical practice and patient care.
Earlier in my career, I worked in corrections and behavioral health, experiences that strengthened my skills in assessment, communication, de-escalation, and working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances. Those roles also reinforced my belief that effective healthcare begins with listening and understanding the barriers affecting each individual.
I hold a BSN and am currently pursuing an MSN in Nursing Education. I am especially interested in fully remote opportunities involving nurse navigation, care coordination, patient education, clinical education, behavioral health, quality improvement, or other roles where I can combine clinical knowledge with communication, problem-solving, and advocacy.
I bring curiosity, adaptability, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine love of learning to my work. I am comfortable working independently while remaining highly collaborative, and I enjoy finding practical solutions that make healthcare easier to understand and navigate for both patients and professionals.
