Mariam Issangya

I'm a communications and public relations professional creating digital content, outreach campaigns, and advocacy materials for SHIMAKI, an NGO in Dar es Salaam. I manage social media platforms, produce photography and video documentation, and develop content aligned with SDGs 3, 5, and 8.

I've also taught communication and media subjects at Spring Institute of Business and Sciences while presenting radio programs for Fountain Radio. My work included live interviews, news, community discussions, student mentoring, audio editing, and radio content production.

At Uswazi Born Talents, I supported PR campaigns for creatives through promotional design, social media engagement, interviews, branding, and promotional strategy. Earlier, I provided customer support and maintained product presentation at Junior Cosmetics.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Dodoma. I communicate confidently in English and Swahili and use storytelling, graphic design, media production, and community engagement to strengthen organizational visibility.
