What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Tier 1 SOC Analyst role where I can apply my packet analysis, vulnerability assessment, and SIEM fundamentals to support alert triage, documentation, and investigation-to-ticket workflows with a security-first team.

I’m a Computer Engineering graduate with First Class Honours and hands-on cybersecurity training, and I’m currently bringing that mindset into Governance, Risk & Compliance work. As a GRC & Compliance Associate, I reviewed security controls against ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and COBIT 5, analyzed compliance findings, and turned technical gaps into clear reports for cross-functional stakeholders—mirroring the investigation-to-ticket discipline I expect in SOC workflows.

I also build practical security capability through Blue Team and SOC-focused labs on TryHackMe, packet analysis in Wireshark, and reconnaissance/vulnerability assessment using Nmap and Kali Linux. I’ve explored SIEM concepts with Splunk and Wazuh (including a Docker-based Wazuh setup) and strengthened my networking fundamentals across TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS, so I can contribute effectively to Tier 1 SOC triage.
