Marcos Cavanagh

I’m an Economist and Finance & Management Control Executive with over 15 years of international experience across private companies, government institutions, and non-profit organizations. I bring strong expertise in strategic planning and the development of financial and accounting processes, supported by a results-oriented, technology-driven approach.

Since 2017, I’ve been a Founding Partner at Consecuencia Partners, leading administrative and financial consulting focused on comprehensive financial management. I organize accounting processes, reporting and systems implementation, credit and working capital management, documentation, and team organization and training—often including financialreporting and fund accountability to the Inter-American Development Bank and national public institutions.

In prior roles, I built and led management control and finance operations with direct responsibility for cost, cash flow, and budgeting performance. I designed and implemented the management control area, oversaw cost management and finance operations, managed cash flow and credit negotiations, implemented ERP and CRM systems, and developed management dashboards for decision-making tools.

Earlier, I served as Head of Administration & Finance at the National Housing Secretariat and as CFO / Corporate Finance Director at TECHO Global, where I led financial modernization across 24 organizations in 22 countries. I implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP across 22 countries, coordinated external audits with Deloitte, standardized administrative and accounting procedures globally, and delivered reporting to the Inter-American Development Bank.
