Manu Mwadime

I’m a motivated Perioperative Theatre Technology diploma student with hands-on clinical exposure in operating theatre practice, sterilization, and patient care support. I’m building a strong foundation in theatre technology and surgical technology, guided by a long-term goal of practicing as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in the Gulf healthcare sector.

Through my Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology (POTT) at International College of Medical and Health Sciences (ICMHS), I study Theatre Technology, Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Law & Ethics, Epidemiology, CSSD & Sterile Instrument Storage/Processing, and Theatre Equipment including anaesthesia machines, suction machines, and diathermy.

My clinical attachment and volunteer work involved observing and assisting in operating theatre procedures under qualified supervision, supporting a sterile field, and following infection prevention and control protocols. I also assisted with preparation, handling, and post-procedure processing of surgical instruments, while learning patient positioning, theatre workflow, and perioperative teamwork—backed by BLS and First Aid certification.
