At Phenom, I lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team while staying hands-on with the high-volume hiring platform. I designed dynamic pre-screening workflows and used Temporal to orchestrate long-running processes such as retries and downstream synchronization.
I orchestrated 1M+ interviews across 50+ enterprise customers and implemented Redis-based distributed locking to prevent race conditions in interview scheduling. I also simplified application flows and automated recruiter-heavy steps to improve candidate experience and reduce drop-offs.
Before becoming Engineering Manager, I led a Redis-to-MongoDB migration for 300+ clients at Phenom, reducing infrastructure costs while maintaining system correctness. My recent AI initiatives include middleware for procedural memory and durable facts, as well as a Tree-sitter MCP server that gives AI coding agents structural code intelligence.
