Manikandan User

I’m the Founder of Nammaooru-ch, a civic tech platform where I designed an innovative, user-friendly interface that helps people report local garbage issues in under 15 seconds.

I also founded Zynk, a mobile application that helps users save and organize online content while reducing data usage. At Zynk, I led end-to-end product design and development—UX research, wireframing, and prototyping—and designed/built the app using Flutter and Figma, launching it on the Google Play Store.

As a Product Designer at Madras Christian College, I collaborated on the CUMTA Challenge solution for urban mobility innovation. I led UX research and product design, including wireframing and user journey mapping, and the project qualified for the final level with recognition for design impact.

Previously, I served as Chief Executive Officer for Vaango, shaping a smart mobility startup concept focused on real-time bus tracking, smart notifications, and digital bus passes. I pitched at Youth Ideathon 2025 at IIT Delhi, where the project was selected among the Top 100 out of 4,500+ startups and ranked 2nd for “Most Liked Startup,” and I’m currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Madras—focused on accessible, scalable, and impactful technology.
