At Howard University, I lead flagship international academic exchange and global health initiatives, managing a $15M+ portfolio of programs and grants. I build partnerships across Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia to expand student exchange, research, and experiential learning.
I direct the Mandela Washington Fellowship (YALI), coordinate Fulbright Scholars and international delegations, and support Saudi Cultural Mission, Iraqi Cultural Mission, and Brazilian-BSMP participants. As an Alternate DSO/ARO, I maintained 100% SEVIS compliance for 500+ international students from 20+ countries with zero audit findings.
My work also spans global health and international development, including leading a $2M HIV/AIDS program for Save the Children in Mozambique and advising UNFPA and UNDP on youth SRH, HIV/AIDS, and capacity-building programs. I bring grant leadership, culturally responsive curriculum design, international partnership development, and multilingual communication in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Afrikaans, and Arabic.
