I'm completing my MSc in Bioproducts Engineering at Aalto University, where I focus on biomass refining and sustainable material pathways.
At TU Graz, I recovered cellulose from post-consumer poly-cotton blends and produced paper sheets, generating data that supports using recovered cotton from textile waste as a paper-production raw material. I prepared and evaluated sheets using valley beater refining, tensile testing, optical brightness testing, and FTIR analysis.
At Aalto University, I developed online teaching materials for a master's-level bioproducts engineering course and supported journal-publication data analysis and manuscript preparation. I've also investigated NSAQ and kraft pulping of Finnish softwoods through full lab-scale pulping, delignification, and bleaching sequences.
