I bring extensive business administration and customer service experience in the retail, for-profit industry, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, general database maintenance, and store support functions. I assess customer needs quickly and deliver products/services that fit, while resolving issues in a timely manner to protect loyalty and repeat business.

At Dominicks Finer Food, I was promoted from Cashier to Customer Service/Bookkeeper within the first three months of a new assignment. I assisted with supervision of 12–16 full-time and part-time employees, managed day-to-day customer service desk operations, created employee work schedules, and completed financial statements, invoiced accounts, credit card processing, and cash handling reports.

I also maintained operational accuracy through retail checkout, lottery functions, Western Union transactions, money orders, and frequent cash drawer balancing after every shift. I helped develop and organize an inventory management system, handled returns/exchanges, and acted as a steady problem-solver during customer conflicts.

More recently, as a Pilgrim Lutheran School Assistant teacher, I supported safety and quality learning by helping with lesson planning and classroom management. I supervised recess, lunch, field trips, and school events, supported online learning using Zoom, and helped maintain a welcoming, nurturing classroom environment (including an award for the best pre-k class in Chicago in 2018–2019 and 2020–2021), while speaking Assyrian/Arabic.
