Madhavi Hanchate

I’m a software engineer focused on building practical AI/ML solutions and full-stack web applications with Python. In parallel roles as an AI/ML Intern and a Full Stack Web Developer Intern, I’ve worked on end-to-end development—from data preparation to deploying usable features through web services.

In my AI/ML work, I’m building a crop recommendation system for a worldwide agricultural dataset, aiming for region-specific suggestions. I’ve also developed data pipelines to clean and structure large Excel-based datasets, then exposed model predictions via a Web API using Django and Python to support evaluation-driven improvements.

On the full-stack side, I design and develop applications through the complete SDLC, applying object-oriented design and secure coding practices. I built a Task Manager application and an E-Commerce website using Python, Django, and MongoDB, implementing RESTful API endpoints and integrating responsive HTML/CSS/JavaScript frontends with Git/GitHub-based collaboration.

I bring that same “build-and-iterate” mindset to projects: I developed an AI-based non-invasive anemia screening system using OpenCV and ML, achieving 87% classification accuracy, and I also built an AI interview preparation assistant that integrates a local LLM (Llama 3.2 via Ollama) with automated response scoring in Streamlit. I enjoy working with tools like Docker, Jupyter Notebook, NumPy/Pandas, and Scikit-learn to turn models into real user experiences.
