What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a BI role where I can own metrics and dashboards end-to-end, optimize performance, and help executives make decisions with clear, trusted insights for non-technical stakeholders.

I’m a Senior BI Analyst with 4+ years of hands-on BI experience and 15+ years in economics and finance. I lead BI initiatives end-to-end—from raw data extraction and modeling to executive dashboards and business decisions—with a strong focus on clarity and trust in numbers.

In my current role as Power BI Team Lead at Halyk Finance, I own metric definitions and data logic for Business Activity Index dashboards, review dashboard logic and DAX measures for performance and consistency, and reduce manual reporting workload by 40x through automation and optimized data models using Qlik Sense. I translate macroeconomic and transactional data into insights that non-technical stakeholders can act on.

Previously, as a BI Data Analyst at Bureau of National Statistics (QazStat), I built interactive Power BI and Qlik Sense dashboards, implemented DAX measures for complex calculations, and focused on data visualization and storytelling to drive data-driven decision-making. I also bring research and economic policy experience from roles in national reporting, trade policy development, and economic functions across organizations.
