What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a Junior Data Engineer opportunity in Cape Town or on a remote team where I can keep learning and contribute to practical data pipeline work from day one.

I've built end-to-end data engineering projects including a GitHub analytics platform that collects API data, loads it into PostgreSQL, orchestrates workflows with Apache Airflow, runs in Docker, and presents insights in Metabase.

I also developed weather and real estate pipelines using AWS RDS, Amazon S3, PySpark, Parquet, validation, logging, and alerts. I'm continuing project-based learning while preparing for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, and I'm ready to contribute to a junior data engineering team from day one.
