What I'm looking for

I seek hands-on security roles focused on detection, incident response, and DevSecOps in collaborative teams that emphasize learning, growth, and practical threat-hunting work.

I am a bilingual IT professional (native Spanish, English C2) with a strong software architecture foundation who has pivoted into cybersecurity. I hold CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701), graduated as an Analista Programador, built extensive home labs with Proxmox and Docker, and have applied Red/Blue Team techniques across detection and response projects.

I have practical experience in SIEM and IDS tooling (Wazuh, Suricata), defensive hardening, threat hunting, and DevSecOps practices, and I’ve deployed end-to-end labs validating detection coverage and defense-in-depth hardening. I am currently continuing Cybersecurity Engineering studies, preparing for CompTIA CySA+, and actively training with Splunk and Wazuh for log analysis and threat detection.
