What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a data analyst/data engineering role where I can keep building this bridge between rigorous engineering and data analytics—turning messy real-world operational data into auditable, actionable decisions with scalable pipelines.

I’m an Engineer with 5 years of experience in demanding, safety-critical technical environments, including over 2 years focused on data analysis of operational and technical data. My railway background taught me how data is generated at source, how hardware constraints shape signals, and why analysis must handle noise and real-world conditions.

At Stadler Rail in Zurich, I work as a technical point of contact for ETCS and Class B system issues—analyzing fault data, challenging supplier root-cause analyses, and coordinating corrective actions with commissioning teams. I plan and lead measurement campaigns on vehicles, identify recurring fault patterns across fleets, and turn findings into structured reports for engineering, maintenance, and software teams.

I’m currently completing an MSc in Visual Analytics and Big Data (graduating July 2026), strengthening my bridge between rigorous engineering and analytics with SQL/Python, Power BI/Tableau reporting, and growing data engineering capabilities (ETL/ELT, Big Data architectures, feature engineering, anomaly detection). I want to keep building data pipelines that turn messy evidence into decisions people can act on.
