Designed and developed an institutional digital asset custody platform, focusing on secure integrations, key management, MPC signing, and access control. Implemented the custody backend using Java and Spring Boot, integrating FROST threshold signing and REST APIs with security controls.

Worked on the architecture and development of the Harmonize institutional custody platform, designing solutions for transaction processing, compliance, banking integrations, and distributed services. Implemented Spring Boot services with REST APIs and PostgreSQL, and improved indexing performance from five seconds to half a second.

Led three engineers and developed a decentralised exchange and token launchpad on Cardano, taking both products from initial development into production. Designed and implemented backend architecture including domain models, persistence, REST APIs, and business workflows, and integrated Cardano event processing and KYC/AML workflows.

Designed and developed the DIEP scientific analytics platform using Java, Spring, JEE, React, and Oracle SQL, working directly with a team of five scientists. Implemented backend services, REST APIs, and workflows for drug-induced toxicity and RNA-seq analysis, and integrated scientific analysis pipelines using R and Python/FastAPI.

Led the development of a real-time integration between a bank's trading systems and Avaloq Core, using Java and Spring. Designed and implemented the integration layer for FX, swap, and spot trading orders, connecting external systems with the core banking platform.

Led five engineers developing a real-time hearing assistance application and its Java backend, working alongside audio and hardware specialists. Contributed to the iOS application, integrations, and production releases, reaching more than 100,000 downloads.

Developed a semantic search platform processing more than two million documents, with backend APIs and Apache Solr. Redesigned the indexing pipeline, reducing processing time from six days to four hours.

Developed Java backend services for music, video, and digital-content platforms serving Telecom Italia and Deutsche Telekom. Worked on REST APIs, payment integrations, and low-latency services running on redundant Nginx and Jetty infrastructure, leading teams of up to six engineers.

Developed Java backend services and APIs for a risk-management platform used in international insurance programmes. Worked on automated testing, continuous integration, security, and infrastructure improvements.

Developed financial workflow and document-management applications using Oracle CMSDK, SQL, and PL/SQL. Rebuilt backend components and implemented unit and integration tests.
