I'm a Nurse Paralegal at Wicker Smith Attorneys at Law, where I evaluate medical records, prepare hospital charts, support attorney investigations, and coordinate medical-malpractice case experts.

I've spent much of my career caring for critically ill patients in medical, surgical, cardiovascular, and open-heart ICUs at Flagler Hospital, Benefis Hospital, Physicians Regional Medical Center, and Venice Regional Medical Center. As a charge nurse, I heightened ICU standards, monitored staff performance, and supported diverse patients and families in high-volume settings.

My cardiovascular experience includes CABG, MAZE procedures, valve repair and replacement, AAA repairs, ventricular assist devices, IABP, Swan Ganz catheters, CCRT, STEMIs, cardiac catheterizations, and high-risk cardiac medications.

I've also provided nursing care in outpatient vascular surgery and a detention-center setting, managing medication administration, patient records, referrals, and urgent healthcare needs. I bring a BSN in Nursing and a practical ability to quickly discern needs, solve problems, and establish rapport with patients, families, and medical staff.
