Jackie Burnside

I am an experienced and diligent registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a strong background in critical care, cardiac care, neuro ICU, and progressive care settings. I have worked across multiple inpatient units, including coronary care, medical/neuro ICU, surgical/trauma ICU, and float pools, and I am skilled in advanced life support, ventilator management, and complex device care.

I leverage strong analytical skills, meticulous documentation, and patient advocacy to identify errors or omissions in health records and ensure compliance with legal and hospital standards; I also completed a Legal Nurse Consultant course to formalize this transition. I have supervised and mentored staff, coordinated multidisciplinary teams, and managed high-acuity workflows at a Level I trauma center.

I bring proven crisis-management ability, excellent communication across field and hospital teams, and hands-on experience with invasive hemodynamic monitoring and advanced therapies (IABP, Impella, CRRT, SLED, EVD). I am committed to applying clinical expertise to support legal review, case analysis, and accurate medical-legal documentation.
