I've sourced, written and published news stories for Spark Sunderland, including coverage of new independent cafés in Washington and Jesmond. I took original photographs, created a map, and produced a social-media video for one of these stories.
I'm studying Sports Journalism at Sunderland University on an NCTJ-certified course, with graduation planned for June 2027. I also wrote for SportsByte, covering Saudi Arabia being named host of the 2034 World Cup.
Alongside journalism, I coordinate activities for residents at an elderly dementia home, planning group sessions and one-to-one activities around individual interests and hobbies.
My retail, hospitality and volunteer experience has strengthened my customer service, communication, cash handling and ability to support several people at once.
