What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue supporting and modernizing mission-critical mainframe applications through systems analysis, COBOL development, database work, testing, and production support.

I've supported mission-critical DHS, ICE, USDA, Fannie Mae, and Human Services systems for over two decades, modernizing legacy COBOL applications and maintaining production operations. Most recently, I converted pre-COBOL4 applications to COBOL6 for USDA contracts while using IDMS, CULPRIT, OLQ, Endevor, JCL, File-AID, and Jira for analysis, testing, reporting, and controlled releases.

I've built Perl and DOS automation for SEVIS interfaces, enhanced COBOL/DB2 and IDMS/COBOL applications, documented complex data flows, and investigated production issues through root-cause analysis. I also bring hands-on security operations experience as a security guard, command center operator, and shift supervisor.
