Leivur Olsen

As a recent software engineering graduate from the University of the Faroe Islands, I am passionate about leveraging my skills to build high-quality, secure, and impactful software solutions. My academic journey has provided me with a solid foundation in core concepts like data analysis, networking, and IT security, which was a central theme of my bachelor's thesis on authentication protocols.

Beyond my formal education, I have a strong interest in hands-on, practical development. I've actively pursued personal projects to deepen my understanding and proficiency, including building a web service with ASP.NET Core, deploying a SQL database with Docker, and experimenting with IoT solutions using a Raspberry Pi. This self-driven approach ensures I'm always learning and ready to tackle new challenges.

My professional experience, including a summer internship at Nemlia, has further sharpened my skills in a real-world setting. During this time, I focused on testing and quality assurance, which gave me a deep appreciation for robust, well-engineered code.

I am a highly motivated, flexible, and collaborative individual.
