Lebohang Mokoena

I am a qualified fashion designer who takes pride in her work ethic. I have an interest in doing research and writing about fashion design, the social challenges we face daily, and how fashion can be used as a tool to address those challenges. I believe in design thinking, and think that through critical thinking and applying design to the problem solving thinking process. We can create solutions that will help humanity and reshape the thinking of our audiences.

My interests include reading, writing, going to the gym, hiking, and spending my time with loved ones.

I have worked as a Residence Academic Advisor at the University of Johannesburg, as a 1st year tutor and as an Audio and Visual Services assistant at the University of Johannesburg. The biggest lesson I learned from these opportunities is the importance of effective communication and knowing how to work in a team.

I take pride in my love for sports, I was part of the Free State under 16 netball team, and I was the deputy debate captain for my high school debating team.

I was also one of the top achieving students when I left my high school, and I took pride in my work.

I believe in working hard and smart. I think that our minds are our biggest investments and I aim to make big investments with my mine.
