Lauren Christou

I am a dedicated nursery assistant with three years of experience in creating engaging and nurturing environments for children aged 6 months to 5 years. My work within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) has equipped me with the skills to lead small group activities and provide personalized support to children, ensuring their developmental needs are met. I hold a full enhanced DBS check, a paediatric first aid certificate, and have undergone safeguarding training, which underscores my commitment to child safety and well-being.

Currently, I am working towards a Level 3 Early Education in Childcare, further enhancing my knowledge and skills in early childhood education. My role at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery involves looking after children across various age groups, supporting the Nursery Nurse in developing teaching plans, and organizing interactive activities that foster learning and development. I pride myself on establishing positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and I am adept at managing daily routines while ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
