What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to continue advocating for students with disabilities while also providing opportunities for professional growth and collaboration with fellow educators.

I am a passionate special education teacher with over 20 years of experience advocating for students with various disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, and Down Syndrome. My journey in education has been driven by a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where every student can thrive. I have honed my skills in facilitating IEP meetings and developing individualized lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of my students.

Throughout my career, I have worked in multiple school districts, where I have taken on leadership roles such as PBIS Captain and MTSS leader. My approach to teaching emphasizes building strong relationships with students and parents, ensuring open communication and collaboration. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere.
