@arriellemeyers
Dedicated educator passionate about empowering young learners.
I am a committed educator with a strong philosophy centered around adapting educational experiences to meet the diverse needs of young learners. My goal is to equip the next generation with the skills and confidence to become leaders in their lives and positive contributors to society. I believe in fostering independence and initiative in my students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future endeavors.
Currently, I serve as a teacher at Bernard Isaacs Primary School, where I have been delivering lessons across various subjects since January 2019. My responsibilities include weekly lesson planning, assessment analysis, and administrative duties. I have also taken on leadership roles, such as acting Deputy Head for Grade 3 and serving on the School Governing Body, where I contribute to fundraising initiatives and participate in the interview panel for key positions.
In addition to my teaching experience, I hold a B Ed degree in Foundation Phase and an Honors degree in Curriculum Studies with distinction from the University of Johannesburg. My commitment to continuous learning is evident in my additional certifications, including online English language teaching and first aid. I have also volunteered extensively, developing curriculum and coordinating youth activities, which has further enriched my teaching practice.
