What I'm looking for

I am looking for a supportive school environment that values collaboration and student-centered learning.

As a certified elementary teacher, my mission is to create a welcoming and safe classroom where every student feels valued and included. I believe that education should be a joyful experience, and I strive to foster a love for learning in my students. My teaching philosophy centers around collaboration, diversity, and the integration of students' unique assets into the learning process.

During my student teaching experience at Cumming Elementary, I taught first grade under the guidance of Michelle Merrell. I implemented engaging lesson plans and utilized various teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of my students. My role involved not only teaching small groups but also administering assessments to track student progress. I am committed to creating an open environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring new ideas.

In addition to my student teaching, I have gained valuable experience as a substitute teacher in Forsyth County Schools, managing classrooms across various grades (K-8). My ability to adapt lesson plans and maintain effective communication with staff has been key to my success in this role. I am excited to continue my journey in education and make a positive impact on my students' lives.
