At the State of Georgia - Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS), I manage compliance monitoring for 11 nonprofit and public entities administering approximately $7.3 million annually in TANF funding. I review financial and program documentation, assess cost allowability and risk, and monitor corrective action plans.
I also oversaw contract compliance for the approximately $3.5 million COVID-19 Learning Loss initiative, including review of the administering partner’s RFP and recommended grantee list. I developed paperless contract processes and strengthened prior approval procedures; fiscal compliance training I helped implement contributed to an approximately 40% reduction in monitoring findings.
Earlier, I interpreted Medicaid policy at State of Tennessee - Division of TennCare and State of North Carolina - Division of Medical Assistance, and worked across Tennessee Medicaid, public benefits, compliance, and training programs. My experience includes federal grants, audit readiness, eligibility operations, and training staff and volunteers.
