What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply my California health program, Medi-Cal managed care, compliance, policy analysis, and stakeholder-training experience to improve program operations, resolve complex issues, and support informed management decisions.

At the California Department of Health Care Services, I oversee Medi-Cal Managed Care requirements, serving as a subject matter expert for All Plan Letters, Long-Term Care, and Whole Child Model transitions.

I research laws, regulations, contract requirements, and department policy; review health plan deliverables; and identify risks, trends, and recommendations for management. I work directly with health plans, CMS, leadership, and program staff to resolve issues and provide technical guidance.

Across DHCS, CDPH, and CDCR, I've led licensing reviews, contract and grant compliance work, credentialing oversight, program evaluation, audits, reporting, and process improvement. I've also developed procedures and training materials and trained staff and stakeholders on statewide requirements and program changes.

I bring long-standing California state service experience in health care oversight, compliance, data review, and program operations, including administration of the SharePoint/MCP Portal and support for contract, budget, invoice, and procurement activities.
