For my Colorado wildlife overpass research project, I organized nearly 500,000 vehicle crash data points in Excel and analyzed wildlife-vehicle collisions using introductory Python and Esri ArcGIS. I created 11 maps showing potential locations for overpasses to help reduce deer and elk collisions.
In a New Orleans City Council policy brief, I conducted stakeholder interviews and reviewed statutes and literature to examine succession law across Southeastern Louisiana. I co-authored and edited the brief, presenting research findings, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
My research has also explored the cultural and environmental significance of smooth cordgrass along the Gulf Coast. At Tulane CHAARG, I facilitated membership activities that contributed to 30% membership growth, while coordinating organizational planning and serving as a liaison with university administrators, the national organization, and community partners.
