I hold a Bachelor of Technology degree with majors in Information Technology from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra. Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to encompass my desire to be product-oriented, from thinking through the product implications of what I am building to contributing your unique ideas of how to improve the product. This has been showcased multiple times in my job roles and the experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of core engineering concept applications and a proven track record of exceeding expectations when it came to delivering results.

Currently, as a Software Development Engineer at Captain Fresh, I am an integral part of the team responsible for designing and implementing user-facing product features. I developed the finance backend for the firm, working closely with the Product Managers, and taking active part in business-product-tech discussions. Through close collaboration with superiors and Product Managers, I successfully streamlined processes, leading to an outstanding 400% performance enhancement over the pre-existing payments setup. My technical expertise spans Java/SpringBoot and Javascript/ReactJS with exposure to PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

During my tenure as a Software Engineering Intern at D.E. Shaw & Co., I developed an in-house full-stack toolset for the ABS team. This toolset significantly reduced time wastage by eliminating the dependence of Finance stakeholders over Ops team, demonstrating my ability to optimize workflows effectively. I employed ReactJS, Redux and Python to implement this project.

Throughout my academic journey, I have undertaken diverse projects spanning WebApps, Android applications, including the latest one upon Google File Systems. Apart from these, I was also an active participant in Capture the Flag events.

My academic background has equipped me with a solid foundation in Software Development, Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, and OS concepts. Proficient in Java and Javascript, I possess a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Design Patterns, SpringBoot, SQL and NoSQL databases, NodeJS, ReactJS, and Linux environments.
