Kushal Kumar

I am a B.Tech student majoring in Mechanical Engineering, and I enjoy solving complex problems with innovative approaches and strong attention to details. I am interested in working as a mechanical engineer to contribute to technology-advancement projects and make them more functional, right from the entry level.

I build practical systems through hands-on projects, from creating a rain detector with basics sensors, LEDs, and a buzzer to notify users immediately to improving design efficiency for electric vehicles. In my “Electric vehicles design at EV Saksham, Bengaluru,” I created a SOLID EDGE model and developed a parametric design system to enable faster design iterations and modifications. I also worked on “Dynamicanalysis of landing gear with MR fluid based damper,” studying how a smart damper adjusts damping force using a magnetic field to improve shock absorption, reduce landing vibrations, and enhance safety versus conventional damping systems.

Through internships at Jit technologies and Aim tooling systems, I gained exposure to manufacturers of special purpose machines and automobile parts, as well as tools and work-holding devices like boring tools, reamers, setting fixtures, and work holding devices. I complement my mechanical design interest with learning in Python Foundation and Controller Application, EV design and development, SAP MM, Advance Python & Machine Learning Foundation, and Industrial Automation System Design using PLC, so I can connect design decisions with real-world implementation.
