What I'm looking for

I seek a role leveraging actuarial and data analysis skills in pensions or insurance, with opportunities to build BI solutions, automate models, and influence financial decision-making.

I am an Actuarial and Data Analyst with over five years of experience in pension and general insurance consulting, specializing in data cleaning, transformation, and analysis using Excel, SQL, Python and Power BI.

At Atchison Actuaries and Consultant I led data validation, reserving analysis, IAS 19 valuations and pension fund investment advisory, and automated Excel models with VBA to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Earlier at African Actuarial Consultants I supported DC and DB fund valuations, individual benefits calculations, bonus recommendations and surplus analysis process improvements, building a strong actuarial foundation.

I also completed Power BI and retail data analysis projects (Forage/PwC, Tata) where I designed DAX measures, data models and dashboards to surface KPIs and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
