At CITY of SMYRNA POLICE DEPARTMENT, I supervised the daily operations of a 12-hour patrol shift and investigated Officers’ use-of-force incidents, vehicle accidents, and complaints. I also supervised recruit outfitting and training.

As a Detective, I conducted investigations into criminal incidents, specializing in homicide, crimes against persons, and crimes against children. I prepared case files, collected evidence, conducted interviews and interrogations, and testified in legal proceedings.

Earlier, at CITY of ATLANTA POLICE DEPARTMENT, I worked patrol and in a criminal and narcotics interdiction unit, using traffic law to apprehend wanted persons and disrupt narcotics transportation. I also trained and mentored new Officers, and received over 900 hours of additional law enforcement training.
