@krishamaepacnis
Chemical engineer focused on sustainable systems modeling, process optimization, and data-driven decision making.
What I'm looking for
I am a licensed Chemical Engineer with hands-on research experience in integrated climate, land, energy, and water systems (CLEWs) modeling and process design for bioethanol production. I have executed structured data collection, validation, scenario-based simulations, and troubleshooting to improve model reliability and support data-driven conclusions.
I contributed to detailed mass and energy balance verification, PFD/P&ID interpretation, Safety Instrumented System evaluation, and economic feasibility assessments in university projects, and supported membership engagement and communications in student organizations. I bring strong analytical, technical documentation, and collaboration skills, with proficiency in Excel and basic MATLAB.

Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Thesis Researcher
SPaRC Laboratory
Executed structured data collection and validation for an integrated Philippine CLEWs model, improving simulation reliability through corrective data refinement and scenario-based analyses. Identified model input inconsistencies and applied troubleshooting to enhance model stability and derive data-driven conclusions.
Membership Committee Volunteer
UPALCHEMES
Supported membership engagement and internal coordination for the Academic League of Chemical Engineering Students and contributed to creation and design of publication materials for events and announcements.
Process Design Team Member
University of the Philippines Diliman
Contributed to plant design for bioethanol production, performing mass and energy balance verification, developing PFDs/P&IDs, and supporting SIS evaluation to improve safety and process feasibility. Assisted economic analysis and proposed optimizations to address bottlenecks.
