At Prompt Personnel Pvt Ltd, I administer PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and MSSQL databases for Karnataka State Data Center production, development, and test environments. I handle database installation, backups and recovery, user access, and capacity monitoring.
I troubleshoot database locks, blocking sessions, deadlocks, and performance issues, and support PostgreSQL upgrades and high-availability activities. I also provide 24x7 on-call production support and coordinate with security teams on vulnerability assessments and database hardening.
Previously, as Technical Support – Level 3 for the Centre for e-Governance – eOffice Web Application, I monitored database health, replication, and MongoDB shard and replica set status. I analyzed queries, managed WAL archiving and maintenance activities, developed shell scripts, and supported security assessments.
