At CleverTap, I joined as the first DevOps hire and built a 20+ person Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, and Security organisation supporting 2,000+ enterprise customers. I lead a multi-region AWS and Azure platform serving 40M+ requests per minute and 40B+ events per day at 99.99% availability.
I remain hands-on with the infrastructure strategy and code behind it, including Terraform, AWS CDK, GoFormation, Helm, Kubernetes, CI/CD, incident response, and disaster recovery. I led four platform generations from bare metal through Docker and ECS to EKS, using staged migrations without customer-visible incidents.
I built self-service platform capabilities for 250+ engineers, reducing 60% of a two-day infrastructure ticket class to under an hour. I also automated alert response, cutting daily human pages from hundreds to roughly ten, and reduced monthly cloud spend from $3M to $1.7M while expanding regional capacity.
I started CleverTap's security and compliance programme, authored its infrastructure controls, and led first-pass ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, and GDPR audits. Across infrastructure, security, and operations, I build the function, grow the team, and stay accountable for production outcomes.
