I develop and implement community engagement strategies to encourage active participation. My responsibilities include planning risk assessment workshops, overseeing data collection and analysis, and documenting fire risk reduction strategies for effective communication.

Led the implementation of the Optimisation Trial for ParentText, managing 32 facilitators, overseeing implementation sessions, and ensuring accurate data collection. Responsible for stakeholder management and conducted qualitative interviews during post-implementation and post-test phases.

Responsible for stakeholder engagement, implementation, coordinating the everyday activities of the digital parenting programme and providing logistical support for the successful planning and smooth day-to-day running of the study.

Supported research on the effectiveness of digital parenting interventions. Assisted in data collection, literature reviews, and qualitative research activities.

Organising meetings, budgeting, funding applications, managing staff within the Research Group and coordinating my line manager's day-to-day activities in the group. I also played the role of research assistant for ongoing projects.

Conducted research on digital parenting interventions for low-income communities. Supported research dissemination strategies.

Research focused on the impact of the pandemic on domestic workers, their jobs, livelihood and the role of SADSAWU. Second research I worked on focused on fire safety in informal settlement where I managed the project across 4 informal settlements in Cape Town, South Africa.
