Kendra Schnip

I’m a Rug Specialist at Bloomingdales, focused on delivering exceptional customer service that closes sales and retains clientele. I collaborate with management and vendors to source items, communicate consistently with clients, and maximize profits through clear, proactive communication.

Previously, I trained as an Internship Trainee at Schwartz Design Showroom, where I organized the showroom floor to showcase available elements and ordered samples for designers. I supported designers with fabric swatch selection for specific projects so they could match quality and intent.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a Teacher at Bright Horizons, developing weekly/monthly lesson plans aligned to center goals and maintaining state and federal licensing and program requirements. I assessed children’s development, communicated with parents to address concerns, and created an environment focused on learning and enjoyment.

I also gained hands-on experience as a Caregiver with Home Instead, building trust with seniors through companionship and safe daily support, including meal prep and routine assistance. With a BA in Psychology (Minor: Neuroscience) and certifications including Google Analytics, CPR/first aid, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy Practitioner, I’m devoted to creating positive change and motivating others with sincerity.
