I’m a Living Environment and Earth Science Teacher, committed to helping students succeed in an inclusive classroom with a diverse range of backgrounds. Since August 2021, I’ve taught high school-level science and used Schoology and other classroom technologies to build an effective learning environment.
Before that, I taught Earth Science and Living Environment at a public charter school from August 2019 to June 2021. I adapted to new and changing COVID-related protocols while still providing comprehensive, inclusive instruction, and I used the Google Classroom suite to support my students. I also served on the National Honor Society committee, reading and evaluating student applications, and participated in the school’s 403b Committee.
Alongside teaching, I’ve coached wresting and football since 2014, focusing on safe, reflective, and skill-building practices. As Head Varsity Wrestling Coach, I recruit and direct coaches, manage budgets, plan transportation, maintain inventory, host a memorial tournament, and support scholarship efforts. Earlier in my career, I worked as a Corrections Officer (October 2013 to August 2019), designing daily movement and activities while communicating clearly with diverse populations, and I’ve continued community service through leadership roles such as the Zoning Board of Appeals and Ethics Board.
