At Karl Finance, I co-founded the team building VISOR—Volatility Intelligence and Strategic Opportunity Radar—to measure market volatility and identify when the structures that hold markets steady begin to fail. We’re also developing VTS, our execution system, around adaptive indicators, conviction-based compounding and the Piton-Belay risk discipline.
At The Meaning Motive, I explore whether AI might have a reason to value independent minds. We tested part of that hypothesis with MMBP-1: eighteen AI models completed 23,488 scored trials, and one paragraph prioritising independent minds’ existence and agency raised agency-preserving choices by 20.5 percentage points on ten discriminating scenarios.
My earlier work includes co-founding ThePaymaster, a fully online paymaster platform with patent-pending Transaction NFTs, and co-founding Super Server to improve access to AI computing infrastructure. Before these ventures, I worked in marketing at Dresdner Kleinwort and NYSE Bluenext, and studied history at Cambridge.
