I am a Library and Research professional currently serving at Botswana Accountancy College. With a strong academic and professional background in knowledge management and research support, I have developed expertise in facilitating access to information, curating digital and physical knowledge resources, and promoting evidence-based decision-making within academic and public institutions.

My academic interests lie at the intersection of information science, public policy, and socio-economic development.

My career began in the public research sector at the Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI), where I served as a Knowledge Commons Officer. During this time, I was actively involved in developing research repositories, managing knowledge dissemination strategies, and supporting scientists and policy analysts with literature reviews and data sourcing. This experience deepened my interest in how knowledge systems contribute to innovation and national development.

My academic interests lie at the intersection of information science, public policy, and socio-economic development. I have recently been exploring the socio-economic impacts of the gambling industry in Botswana, particularly how employment and revenue generation are balanced against social costs. I am also engaged in narrative-based research on climate resilience, particularly the lived experiences of Gaborone residents affected by flooding, with an emphasis on emotional response, institutional support, and traditional coping mechanisms.

In my current role, I support students and faculty with research consultations, information literacy training, and access to academic resources. I also collaborate with administrative units to improve knowledge sharing across departments. I am passionate about bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world policy application, and I believe that accessible, well-managed information plays a vital role in institutional performance and community empowerment.
