What I'm looking for

I seek a role in a collaborative environment that values innovation and student success.

I am an experienced Academic Support Coordinator with over a decade of experience in higher education. My journey began with a B.A. in English from the University of Calgary, and I have since dedicated my career to enhancing student learning experiences. At Red Deer Polytechnic, I developed and implemented innovative academic support services, including the Writing Skills Centre and ESL tutoring programs, ensuring that students receive the guidance they need to succeed academically.

Throughout my career, I have prioritized research and assessment to continually improve the services offered. I have successfully managed teams, providing training and professional development opportunities to tutoring staff while maintaining compliance with institutional policies. My commitment to student empowerment and academic excellence has driven me to create engaging learning environments that cater to diverse student needs.

As I look to the future, I am eager to bring my expertise in academic support and my passion for education to new challenges, particularly in dynamic environments that value innovation and student-centered approaches.
