At Synnovis, St Thomas Hospital, I acknowledged and sorted samples, processed them using Alinity ci-series, and monitored quality controls and analyzer maintenance. Earlier, as an Associate Medical Technologist in Hospital Authority, I worked across reception, blood bank, haematology, coagulation, and biochemistry.
In those laboratory roles, I processed blood and other patient samples, performed testing and equipment calibration, and authorized patient reports. At Hong Kong Screening Center, I supported infant metabolite diagnosis through daily urine processing using GCMS.
Since 2023, I’ve also provided Mandarin and Cantonese interpreting for NHS appointments and other settings. I’m hoping to change my career path and learn new skills; my studies and courses include data science, Python, SQL, and machine learning.
