Software engineer focused on scalable backend systems and distributed event architectures.
What I'm looking for
I’m a backend-focused software engineer who enjoys building secure, high-throughput systems with careful API design, reliability, and measurable performance. I like turning complex payment and workflow requirements into maintainable microservices, with strong correctness around idempotency, versioning, and failure handling.
At Razorpay, I architected and scaled a PCI DSS–compliant Apple Pay integration, designing secure, rate-limited, idempotent, versioned APIs and webhooks with mutual TLS and HSM-backed key management. I also built an international checkout & personalization engine using geo/browser signals and data pipelines that drove retention uplift and incremental revenue, and I re-architected refund and pricing systems from monolith to microservices to improve throughput and revenue.
I’ve worked deeply with event-driven architectures—building Kafka-powered microservices with DLQs, retries, partitioning, consumer groups, and idempotent consumers. I’ve owned backend reliability and performance end-to-end, engineering SQL/NoSQL/Redis data layers, zero-downtime migrations, and production observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Coralogix, Vajra), including load/E2E testing and canary releases.
Before that, at Swiggy, I handled on-call rotations and production incidents through log analysis and DLQ monitoring, and I led deployments from testing through canary in production. I built order management and ETA APIs with circuit breaker mechanisms and queue-based delayed workflows, partnering with logistics teams to improve user experience and operational productivity.
