I’m a software engineer with 5+ years building and modernizing web platforms in PHP, Symfony, Laravel, and JavaScript/React. I work at the system level—modular monolith and microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and event-driven services—while keeping test discipline with Behat BDD, unit, and feature testing.

I’ve delivered measurable impact: I cut average API response time from ~2s to ~400ms, reduced production error rate from 15% to 1%, and onboarded 100+ retailers on a UK fintech platform. I also integrate AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini) into daily delivery to ship faster without sacrificing reliability.

At TLD Group, I’m migrating a large legacy PHP codebase to a modular Symfony monolith, using dual-write synchronization so legacy and new modules can run side by side for incremental migration with zero downtime cutover. I built an entity-level observability feature using custom Symfony attributes to log every CRUD operation to a centralized activity table, and I integrated AI-assisted features and change-log notifications into existing modules.

Previously at Cygnet One (CMMI Level 3), I engineered and maintained features across 7+ microservices within a distributed 21-service fintech platform, strengthening API consistency and reliability and reducing response time to ~400ms. I containerized services with Docker, improved CI/CD pipelines with Codefresh for automated builds and testing gates, contributed Vue.js UI and integrations, and served as a rotational Scrum Master and module lead. I’ve also shipped WordPress/WooCommerce work, including a custom payment gateway with refund flows and API integrations.
